Calgary chartered accountants are members of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA). The term chartered accountant is used as reference to the members of an accountant association in countries under the British Commonwealth. For an accountant to be a member of the CICA, he or she should be a member of at least one Chartered Accountants Institute. This is the only way that a person can be one of the Calgary chartered accountants. Calgary chartered accountants may practice in private, public or government entities.
